ENERGY FOR EVERYONE
Renewable energy is energy that is collected from renewable resources that are naturally replenished on a human timescale. It includes sources such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, waves, and geothermal heat. About 20% of humans' global energy consumption is renewables, including almost 30% of electricity.
Renewable energy often displaces conventional fuels in four areas:
- Electricity generation
- Hot water/space heating
- Transportation
- Rural (off-grid) energy services
GAS POWER PLANT
ENERGY FOR EVERYONE
A gas-fired power plant or gas-fired power station or natural gas power plant is a thermal power station which burns natural gas to generate electricity. Natural gas power stations generate almost a quarter of world electricity and a significant part of global greenhouse gas emissions and thus climate change.
Advantages:
- Less water used since there is no need for a condense
- Maintenance charges are low
- Can be started quickly
LNG
LNG IS THE FUEL FOR CHANGE
Liquefied natural gas is natural gas that has been cooled down to liquid form for ease and safety of non-pressurized storage or transport. It takes up about 1/600th the volume of natural gas in the gaseous state. LNG is odorless, colorless, non-toxic and non-corrosive.
- Reduction in carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions
- Reduction in sulfur (SO2) and fine particle emissions
- Reduction in nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions
HFO POWER PLANT
ENERGY FOR EVERYONE
Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO) is a petroleum distillate, or hydrocarbon fuel, that is produced from crude oil, from which lighter hydrocarbon products like diesel and gasoline are also extracted. HFO is a cost-effective, reliable fuel that is used in power generators across the world.
Advantages:
- HFO power plants offer long term reliable operation expectation
- Operating & Maintenance charges are low
- Can be started quickly
- Long-life expectancy
- Low noise advantages
